About the Commission of Biscuit
Jason contacted me in 2018 as his friend’s beloved dog, Biscuit, had sadly passed away. His friend was heartbroken over the loss.
Jason shared:
"Biscuit was the wee dog’s name. She was 14 and stuck by my friend through thick and thin!"
Jason felt that a pencil drawing would be a wonderful gift for his friend—something that would bring back cherished memories of Biscuit every day.
The portrait was completed at a 12 x 10 inch size, which was perfect for capturing Biscuit’s expression. You can see the reference photo I worked from on the left.
Jason was thrilled with the portrait. It was lovely exchanging emails with him and completing the artwork, knowing some of the TV programs and films he has starred in. Such a fantastic experience! I truly love my job.
